Street Style + Favorite Beanie

Street Style + Favorite Beanie

Let me just start out by saying I have had a crazy week but I am so thankful at the same time. Life may throw you lemons but just use them when you take shots of tequila (or make lemonade). :)

When I rocked this girly street style look it was freezing outside so I literally stopped and told my wonderful photographer let's stop and grab some coffee. Since it was finally cold enough in Alabama I grabbed my favorite beanie to throw over my curly locks. I am in love with this green khaki sleeveless coat (also seen here) but to stay warm I layered it with my black leather jacket. I wanted to look casual but also girly so I wore a pair of my favorite jeans and pops of leopard.

It was kinda funny because traffic was so slow until we started shooting. It seemed like everyone wanted to come on that side of the plaza once they saw a camera. In some of the shoots we literally had a few seconds to get it right. This was hard because I was laughing majority of the time because cars just kept coming. Drivers kept thinking I was trying to cross the road so they would stop and give the gesture to pass but I would wave and say no thanks. I totally thought people were going to be like this lady does not know how to cross the street. Hahahaha

This outfit is perfect for a casual weekend when you want to layer but look girly. I hope you enjoyed! Xoxo

#AuditYourWardrobe

#AuditYourWardrobe

Hey babes! By the title I am sure you have guessed what we are going to be discussing today. Yep it's that time of the year to audit your wardrobe. You are probably thinking why do I need to do this? And my answer is can you tell me everything you have in your closet? Can you create chic and comfortable daily grab and go outfits? Do you have to try on multiple looks because something doesn't look or fit as expected? If you answered yes to any of those questions it is time for you to do a full audit on your wardrobe.

I have been there and trust me it gets annoying to think you have an item but when you need to wear it doesn't fit or look how you expected! Ugh...I hate when that happens. It wasn't until I finally just stopped on a weekend and completed a full audit on what was in my closet. Do I really need shirts from 3 seasons ago that I know I am not going to wear? How about jeans I just know I will fit back in...but haven't done so in the last year...darn Cheese Its..oh well. We all do it but those clothes are just cluttering your closet and not fitting into your personal style.

Short story: I remember I had this one dress that I absolutely loved. It was an Spring season a line, floral, pink and green dress which screamed my name when I saw it in Macy's. The only problem was it was purchased like 4 years ago and I couldn't fit in it. I mean nothing would stay in one place...I was popping out of everywhere. I held on to it because I knew I would fit in it again...well 4 years later and I still couldn't. It was at the end of December 2015 when I did a full audit again that I finally said goodbye and gave it to the Goodwill.

Along with that dress and many other items that were hogging up space I gave them away. Now I have more room to add new items that fit properly and that are in my personal style.

I invite you to the FREE live webinar where I will help you #AuditYourWardrobe! It is time you get that wardrobe in order. In this webinar we will go over the following:
  • Learn how to properly audit your wardrobe.
  • Learn how to create a wardrobe shopping list on your budget & style.
  • Learn how to organize your wardrobe so it is grab and go ready.
  • + worksheets
  • ++ a workbook to help you along the way.

I know you are a hard working lady so I am offering this webinar twice! Please share with your besties. Thank you so much!

Pop of Red + White T-Shirt Dress

Pop of Red + White T-Shirt Dress

Happy Valentine's Day Weekend!!!!!

If I haven't told you enough then let me say it again...I love you ladies and guys so much! If you do not have a valentine this year no worries the best love to have is self love. Always vow to remind yourself how much you love everything about YOU...I love my chunky face, braces, legs and big hair! lol

I chose to pair this pea coat as my pop of red with a sexy white t-shirt dress for my valentine's day look. I am all about wearing pieces that can transition into different seasons or can be worn with different outfits with ease. This t-shirt dress is one of my favorites this season and I will be wearing it again this spring and summer. I love how it gives that sexy appeal but does not show to much skin.

These grey triple strap heels are some of my favorites and I had to wear them to complete this look. I hope you enjoyed! xoxo

Maybe you are sweet so you want to go for a soft pink or nude. Or you are in touch with your sexy side and want to go for a hot red or burnt orange!! - Where is the flames emoji when you need it- Either way playing with lipsticks is a fun way you can bring some color into your Valentine's Day look.

If you are like me you love to save your coins..there is nothing sexy about being broke but wearing a $50 lipstick. Save your coins for something special for your love muffin and pick up one of these affordable Valentine's Day lipsticks. XO

#Luxbeauty tip: Go with a matte or long wearing lipstick so it does not transfer easily on anything your lips will be touching.
