Happy Friday PL's! You made it through the week! Now its time to relax and catch up on your favorite blog! Zara is one of my favorite stores so of course I had to do my special Favorites Friday for their awesome clothes and shoes. Zara is a Spanish retailer who sales women and men clothing in the U.S. and other countries. They have great prices for pieces that will hold their value. I know you will love them as much as I do! Getting Your Curls Back!

Getting Your Curls Back!

Hi everyone, I hope you all are having a great day!

I wanted to share with you my journey to getting my curls back. Yes, I lost them due to flat ironing my hair wayyyy to much! Growing up I always wanted straight hair because it was such a headache dealing with my thick, long, curly hair everyday. It took me forever to do my hair and I did not know the right products to use to keep is healthy. It was always frizzy and just horrible in my young eyes. When my hair started to break off that is when I realized how damaged it was and I said I have to find the right products to get and keep my hair healthy.

As I got older I realized my hair was beautiful and I needed to stop frying it with flat irons and curling irons. YES I LOVE my hair straight but flat ironing it every 3 days was torture on my hair. Now that I am older I have educated myself about the products to use to keep my hair moisturized and healthy. I wanted to share with you the products that have saved my hair cuticles and kept them healthy. Some of the products you may have already read or used. Please remember every product may not work for your hair type.

The first thing I did was cut about 2 1/2 inches of ends off. I do this about every 8 weeks.

I use coconut oil as a hair treatment on my ends weekly and as a hot oil treatment bi-weekly. Coconut oil hydrates, protects the hair and prevents spit ends. (magic in a jar) I like to use the brand Dr. Bronner's, I purchase mine from Amazon. It will cost you from $10-$15 depending on the seller.

I like to style my hair with Shea Moisture products. They are hair life savers!

My favorite conditioner is the Strengthen Grow & Restore Leave-In Conditioner (here). It is perfect for natural, chemically processed, color treated or heat styled hair. I add this to damp hair.
It is a watery product so be careful when you open it, I spilled about a table spoon out when I first opened it. I thought it would be a thicker substance. It also has a funny smell at first but does not last once added to hair.

Once I have added my leave-in conditioner to my damp hair I add the Curl Enhancing Smoothie (here) to keep my curls shinning and looking moisturized. The smoothie is enriched with coconut oil, silk protein and Neem Oil. This product is great for thick and curly hair.

Please refer to my post about Healthy Hair Practices for all other hair information.

Thanks for reading this post! XOXO

NYFW 2015~Herve Leger by Max Azria

NYFW 2015~Herve Leger by Max Azria

Hi my beautiful PL's! As you all know New York Fashion Week Fall 2015 started last week and ended yesterday! It was amazing to see all the shows and designers online. I was unable to attend this year but I am praying and claiming that I will go next year! All the designers are so unique and truly blessed with their talent. I am so excited for Fall 2015 season. Bold colors and structure clothing pieces will be the top items to add to your wardrobe. I loved so many designers it was hard to choose my top 10. I wanted to share with you my favorite designers and favorite looks from the shows!

My first favorite designer and show was by Herve Leger by Max Azria. Her collection was inspired by the Antoni Gaudi's famed La Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona. Her pieces were recreations of the entire building and the environment at the cathedral. She has taken bandage dresses and fashion to another level. I just want them all in my closet.

I hope you enjoyed my first favorite. XOXO

Go To Nude Lip

Go To Nude Lip

Hi everyone! I like to wear pink and red lipsticks but I love to wear a sexy nude lip. I think a nude lip is perfect for any occasion and goes with every look. If you are rocking a bold eye or neutral eye a nude lip will make it look effortless. I like to look cute but do not want to look like I tried too hard. A nude lip is perfect for running errands or a date night. This combination works well for my skin tone. A lighter or dark skin tone may need a different liner but the lipstick will look beautiful on all skin tones. Enjoy!

::Items Needed::

Step 1: Apply Nyx Nude Pink lip Liner.

Step 2: Apply Nyx Butter matte lipstick.

Step 3: Apply Elf Peace lip gloss.

~Valentines Day Look~

~Valentines Day Look~

Hi my beautiful PL's! I wanted to first say Happy Valentines Day and I love each and everyone of you!
Red and silver is such a great combination when you want to look hot on a date. This look is sexy but chic. The belt will give the appearance of a waist if you don't have one. The cut around the sleeves are very feminine but will not show too much skin. Grab a fur jacket or rock without a jacket. (If you are in California or Florida lol) This outfit is perfect for a Valentines Day lunch date or a night out. I hope you enjoy. All items will be listed below. XOXOXOXOXOXO

Dorthy Perkins Dress// Bracelet// Earrings// Asos Jeweled Belt// JustFab Clutch// Cicihot Heels

Thank you for viewing my blog, following me on IG, Facebook, and Bloglovin. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day filled with love and happiness.
